With all this talk on global warming and the environmental challenges that mankind is facing, there are glimmers of hope beneath all the doom and gloom. Governments are addressing the issue as a primary concern, buying local and organic is as hot as ever, and corporations are starting to become more responsible to the environment rather than just the shareholders.

At AstroNutrition, corporate responsibility is a topic that we do not ignore. The packaging popcorn we use is made from corn, everything is recycled, we walk or cycle to the office, and we try not to throw anything away - one person's junk is another one's treasure and we are more than happy to donate our old computers, printers, and fax machines to the local charities than the local landfill.

There is still much more we can do to improve - remembering to turn off lights, using environmentally-friendly tape, turning off the coffee maker, using less packaging, etc.

It is up to all of us (corporations and individuals alike) to be more aware, proactive and contribute positively to mother earth so future generations of mankind can grow up living in a land of beauty. Do your part today!
