Human Growth Hormone, or HGH, is a hormone which is synthesized and secreted by cells in the pituitary gland located at the base of the human brain. It is one of seven hormones that is excreted by the pituitary gland and like the thyroid hormone, has an effect on almost all tissues and organs in the body.
