PRODUCT REVIEW: Acetyl L-Carnitine

L-carnitine is a derivative of lysine and methionine which are amino acids.  The L-carnitine gets synthesized primarily in the organs of the liver and kidneys.  From here it can be transported to other areas of the body.

L-carnitine is predominantly found in the tissues that utilize fatty acids.  It is here that it is in the highest concentrations.
