5 Tips to Control Acne

If you read the last posting, you'll know some of the myths surrounding acne.  Here we are going to talk about some of the things you can do to help control acne.

Tip #1 - Wash with warm water, rinse with cold. If you use warm water to wash, it will open up your pores allowing you to clean out any dirt, old skin cells and the acne causing bacteria known as propionbacteria acnes.  After you wash, use cold water to rinse your face and close the pores.  You will notice your skin feels tighter and smoother.  With closed pores you have less risk of future clogging and hence less risk of acne developing. Remember - don't use soap - use a gentle cleanser .
