Cherry Juice Cuts Muscle Pain?

It’s cherry season! And who doesn’t love snacking on the juicy red fruit? Even more so now that there may be health benefits for those who like to exercise too. Drinking cherry juice before and after exercise may lessen workout-related muscle pain and damage.

A study, published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, looked at 14 male college students who were given either real cherry juice, or a cherry-flavored soft drink lacking cherry juice (placebo) twice daily over an 8 day period.
