More Men Benefiting from Yoga
Suggesting to a men that they go to a yoga class together ten years ago may have produced a variety of different reactions-laughing, eye rolling, or even shock that this question would be even asked. Until recently yoga has not exactly been something that most men were willing to participate in as it may ruin their macho persona. Thankfully the tables are starting to turn as more and more men are discovering the benefits of yoga both physically and mentally. Here are four reasons why men should practice yoga.
2. It produces great results in the bedroom. Yoga gets the blood flowing-to all regions of the body. The Eagle pose is especially good for sending fresh blood and oxygen to the sexual organs, and this is sure to increase performance during sex. Yoga will also increase flexibility and stamina.
3. It decreases muscle tension. Yoga stretches out muscles and gets rid of stiffness and soreness in the body. For men who are especially active in sports or otherwise it can be a great pain reliever.
4. Yoga restores energy levels. Yoga is not only a great body work out but has benefits on the mind as well. Focusing on breathing and tuning out the normal daily stress can work wonders for your mental clarity. Some men have a hard time relaxing, and yoga can be a great stress reliever.
