Quick Weight Loss With Interval Training

There is good news for those that are looking for a quick way to get slim. This type of quick fix weight loss doesn’t come in a pill form and does require a little work on your part. Interval training is the new workout that everyone is talking about due to the fact that it takes little time to slim down as long as you are willing to put in a lot of effort.

Interval training boosts your metabolism while quick bursts of intense activity accelerate weight loss and keep your body guessing which requires more effort on your muscles. Most people believe that the longer you work out the more results you will get - this is not always true and in fact you can get quite burned-out doing this. No one wants to spend hours in the gym every day nor do most of us have time. Interval training is the best method for fat loss and can even be done in twenty minutes a day to produce great, noticeable results. If you are new to interval training, start out slowly.  In order for this type of training to work you need to put forth a lot of effort. Intervals are short bursts of activity and can really be done anywhere-at the gym on various cardio machines, in your own home doing jumping jacks or running on the spot, or even biking outside.

If you prefer working out on the treadmill start by jogging at a slower pace for three minutes to warm up. Next sprint on a high level for one minute, getting your heart rate up so fast that it is nearly impossible to talk. Next, jog at a moderate pace for two minutes and then crank up the pace for another minute. Alternate like this for twenty minutes and not only will you get your metabolism revved but you will burn tons of fat. This can be applied to any type of cardio machine, or really any activity that involves movement - just alternate short bursts of intensity with moderate cardio exercise.

Interval Training is

Interval Training is something new that I'm hearing but the way it works sounds too much of hard work. I feel that suddenly taking up a heavy workout may involve a lot of strain and in between the intervals there may be possibility of gaining weight as well. By putting our whole body to an extreme level of activity may tear muscles or injure joints so according to me daily exercise is a better option. That way the whole body is on a workout everyday.
