Futurebiotics® Nutrivision with GliSODin 120 vcaps is the ideal vitamin and mineral supplement specially formulated to help promote healthful vision. This product contains powerful antioxidants with GliSODin, a compound that protects the cells against stress, and Lutein and Zeaxanthin, which help reduce the risk of acquiring age-related macular degeneration.
Futurebiotics® Nutrivision with GliSODin 120 vcaps contains rich sources of antioxidants including Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Astaxanthin, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, essential vitamins and minerals with natural herb extracts and whole fruit that work hand in hand to counter the effects of stress and help maintain the ideal ocular health.
GliSODin is the first orally administered form of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD). This compound improves the levels of SOD, the body’s master defense enzyme. SOD transforms the most volatile, and dangerous free radicals into lesser volatile ions. This exclusive blend of SOD obtained from melon and gliadin, a wheat protein makes up GliSODin, a compound that increases the levels of antioxidants present in the eye.
The carotenoids Lutein and Zeaxanthin are associated with reduced risk of MD (Macular Degeneration). These are obtained primarily from dark-green, leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, and mustard. Lutein and Zeaxanthin protect against photo-damage of the retina by filtering out the potentially damaging blue light. They protect the blood vessels that supply the macular region as well as providing protection against peroxidation of fatty acids in the photoreceptor membrane.
Other ingredient include Caromin, a complete carotenoid complex that contains natural alpha-beta-and-gamma-carotene and lycopene. This product also contains whole fruit nutrients from carrot root with Bilberry extracts and L-Glutathione.
