BPI’s Rx6 claims that its “6 in 1 fat loss technology” provides numerous hours of energy and fat burning. There are three different parts to the 618mg serving of Rx6.

1. Niacin (20mg): In high doses this can decrease LDL cholesterol levels, aid with diabetes related conditions, and slow arteriosclerosis progression when used with statin drugs. However, there is not a high enough dose for these effects.

2. 6-in-1 Fat Burning Proprietary Blend: This 238mg includes Thiamine Disulfide, 1,3Dimethylamylamine (DMAA), Amia (10:1 Extract), Synephrine, MethylSynephrine, and Yohimbine HCL. The Thiamine helps with improving energy metabolism and appetite suppression. DMAA is said to improve mood, focus, and energy, but there is not any research to back up the claims, although many users have attested to it being effective. Amia is said to be a fat burner, but there is not any published research to back up the claim. Synephrine used to be thought of as an effective alternative to ephedra, but there lacks any credible study results. There is also no evidence that MethylSynephrine is effective. Yohimbine HCL is at least somewhat effective in helping with weight loss.

3. MethylCore Proprietary Burning Blend: This 360mg blend has seven ingredients including caffeine, cassia nomame, ginseng, dandelion root, green tea, uva ursi, and niacin. It is mostly caffeine, as it has 300mg of it. Caffeine is known to help with burning fat. This dosage makes it effective, but can be a problem for those sensitive to caffeine. The other six ingredients are in too little concentrations to be useful.

Only a few of the ingredients in Rx6 are effective at promoting weight loss, but at least the caffeine is in a powerful dosage. It does have a few fillers that are not backed up with clinical evidence, but it a powerful stimulant fat burner. However, this makes it not ideal for those sensitive to stimulants. - Hi Pamela, start with one capsule per day and take up to 2x per day. Because BPI Rx6 contains stimulants, avoid taking at least 6 hours before bed. Take it sometime after lunch or before a workout would be optimal.
