Rating RapidCuts Femme claims to be “a new modern 3-stage fat burning technology.” It also makes the very reasonable claim of being able to help people lose about 9.9 pounds in a period of 12 weeks. It supposedly provides results with its three-stage technology.
Stage 1: Target™: The first stage is supposed to begin the fat burning process through the controlling of the body’s main fat burning hormone, Cortisol. The three main ingredients in this part of RapidCuts Femme are Sensoril® Ashwagandha extract, Guggul (standardized to be 9mg of both E and Z gugglesterones), and Banaba (standardized to be .48mg of corosolic acid).
Sensoril® Ashwagandha extract seems to be potentially useful for controlling cortisol levels, but the majority of study results involve rats and not humans. There is enough research that it can be pretty much assumed it is beneficial, but not enough to say how beneficial.
Guggul has been shown to increase thyroid T3 hormone levels, which can help with weigh loss. However, the amount used in the studies is much higher than what is present in RapidCuts Femme.
Banaba does have a decent amount of studies to back up its effectiveness at lowering blood glucose levels, which makes it useful for non-insulin dependent diabetics, obese, and overweight people.
Stage 2: Release™ : This is an unique blend developed to promote fat release from large areas of stubborn stored fat. This part of the formula takes advantage of the fat burning capabilities of caffeine including sourcing it from green tea, which can help boost the fat burners effectiveness. It also uses coleus foskohlii extract, which according to research might help minimize weight gain, but does not really help with weight loss.
Stage 3: Ignite™: This part is meant to help eliminate released fatty acids. This includes using green tea sourced ingredients, which has plenty of research to back up its effectiveness for weight loss. It also uses white willow bark, which there is no evidence that it helps with weight loss. Additionally is uses Metabromine®, which might help improve fat burning processes.
Bottom Line: RapidCuts Femme does contain green tea and caffeine, which help with weight loss when used along with a healthy diet and exercise program. There are some other potentially useful ingredients, but there is not much human research on them. It is also nice they claim realistic results. (Posted on 2/12/11)
