Beta-Carotene can also be concentrated through fruit and vegetable juicing; or supplements in capsule form can be purchased at almost any health food store.
Beta-Carotene is most often associated with its medicinal properties and remedial abilities, such as the increase of cancer preventatives within someone's blood stream and stronger immunity defenses to battle long-term illnesses more effectively. It can also be used for patients suffering from eye problems, like severe macular degeneration and photosensitivity.
