I started taking DHEA as prescribed by my Naturapath a couple months ago. It was very expensive and I didn't know if I could continue to take it until I found your site. Well I now can get it for a fraction of the cost and the best thing is that you ship to Canada. Shipping is a bit slow and I was just about ready to email an inquiry when behold it came in the post. Lucy for me I had plenty left from my other bottle so I didn't run out. So now I am well stocked and will be ordering again. As far as the DHEA, well I think it is starting to work although sometimes with working out a person doesn't seem to know what is working when. I am however starting to get wonderful results and am pretty sure it is faster then it has ever been. I am already past menopause and felt I needed an extra boost for my non hormonal body. I am now recommending it to all my family and friends. Oh and just by chance I heard Dr. Oz mention it the other day on his show so I felt even more convinced it was working. The area I really wanted to improve is that saggy under arm stuff women get with age. Well it is looking so much better. I think my arms will look younger for the summer thanks to DHEA. I am really pleased with the product, but a little disappointed that it took so long to ship to me. I thought that the product would be shipped within Canada, but in fact it came from the US.

The product DHEA was prescribed to me by my doctor as I had been on regular hormones for so long. I am really excited by this product and feel no effect from coming off regular hormones. Thank you so much Astro Nutrition. (Posted on 4/14/11)

DHEA, also known as dehydroepiandrosterone, is a hormonal steroid-like element that is naturally produced by the adrenal glands within someone’s body. Typically, when a person reaches the age of 30, they begin to produce less DHEA; this loss can affect their sex drive, everyday mood, or ability to function as a specific gender. The less DHEA within a person’s body, the less they’ll appear as the gender that they were born as. DHEA hormonal supplements are available at most health food stores and can reverse the side effects associated with less DHEA caused by aging.

DHEA also has a positive effect on the appearance of aging individuals. Women who would normally use botox for wrinkles, have a better experience with DHEA supplements; less pain, easily digestible, more appeal. It promotes collagen production while promoting skin elasticity. Men who take DHEA on a regular basis have reported spikes in their ability to perform sexually (without the use of Viagra or other erectile drugs).
