- Kre-Akalyn Creatine Review Review by AstroNutrition In-House Review
-
Kre-Alkalyn is buffered creatine that only converts to creatinine after it reaches skeletal muscle tissue. This nutritional supplement is available as a powder that is taken in a purple capsule.Rating
Kre-Alkalyn is believed to provide the same benefits of creatine, but not the side effects. Creatine monohydrate use has been well-researched and found effective and safe. For this reason, Kre-Alaklyn is believed to also be effective and safe. However, there are no clinical trial evidence done using Kre-Alkayln.
Kre-Alkalyn is created using a higher PH level than regular creatine monohydrate production. This is believed to PH level influences the conversion of creatine to the waste product creatinine. By manufacturing Kre-Alkalyn at higher PH levels, it is believed it can halt the conversion.
Halting or slowing the conversion is thought to improve the body’s ability to absorb creatine. This allows lower doses to be used for results. This can translate into saving the user money, since less creatine is needed to achieve the same results as provided by creatine monohydrate.
Most users of Kre-Alkalyn have reported positive results. This includes it reducing water retention, which means no “creatine bloat” that creatine supplements are often known for. Additionally, many users have found that it provides quick results, especially since there is no “loading” phase as normal creatine monohydrate use requires.
Kre-Alkalyn can help most people. In particular, athletes find it useful for improving immune system function. Additionally, it can help increase muscle mass and functional strength just as creatine can help with. Seniors can also benefit from creatine use, as it can help them keep muscle tissue, which in turn protects bones from stress and fracture.
Since there are no clinical trials of Kre-Alkalyn use, there is no clear proper dosage. There are also no official side effects reported. However, there are no known side effects from those that have reported using it. (Posted on 2/25/11) - Best by far Review by IrishPete

Purple K is the best creatine I have used by far compared to creatine monohydrate increased strength gains over monohydrate there is no loading , and you dont get the the nasty bloating and you dont look like your just full of water and so far with the purple K I have not had any back acne like I would get with the monohydrate. Only downside with this product is that once you stop taking it in a couple of weeks you loose most of the gains as you would with monohydrate , I would highly recommend purple K over monohydrate as you dont get the bad effects of monohydrate , Purple K is more expensive but its worth it in the long run.. Great product if you're willing to pay the premium price. The gains I have made with this have been amazing in comparison to creatine monohydrate, no loading, no cramping, no bloating. Really cant fault the prodcut at all, however it still carries some of the problems you would associate with other creatine products i.e. you lose a lot of your gains as soon as you stop taking it, I personally have slowly starting taking less and less to try and get myself off the stuff as I can't afford to go through the 100 capsules every month. Another problem is (as mentioned in another review) you do get psychologically hooked on the stuff just because when you dont take it you put any poor performance down to not taking the creatine. To conclude, great product if you're willing to pay the price and its most certainly the best performing supplement I have taken just be prepared for a losing a lot of your gains once you stop taking it. Nice bottle and purple capsules. Besides that, I like the look of my new body after going through one bottle. It's not the cheapest for creatine products but for an occasional CEE user, I was quite satsfied with not having to taste the Kre-Alkalyn Creatine. Also, there was no loading so it didn't dehydrate me. Works well, just as advertised. no bloating, cramping, loading, etc. Got really good gains, not too bulky but well defined. Lost about 1/2 the gains about 3 weeks after I got off of it. Will maybe try again in a few months after I give nitrix a try. will report results on that in the future. (Posted on 1/19/09)Rating - First of all, let me explain why I decided to buy the Purple-K. First of all, let me explain why I decided to buy the Purple-K. I'm not much for gimmicks and purple pills, but I needed an alternative the the really gross taste of Kre-Alkalyn Creatine. If you've tasted it, you know what I mean. Anyway, the results were great. I was on 2 caps, once a day and 2x a day on workout days. Results were good because there was no loading, bloating and I noticed results in 2 days. Don't use creatine often but I will use it again on my next cycle. (Posted on 1/19/09)Rating
