Details
Tribulus terrestris is a plant that grows in many tropical and moderate areas of the world. Many different cultures have used it for a number of conditions. Tribulus (puncture vine) is a vine that has been used as a general tonic (energy) and herbal treatment for impotence, but is found primarily in dietary supplements marketed for increasing testosterone levels in bodybuilders and power athletes.
Tribulus terrestris is a testosterone enhancer that leads to the production of the luteinizing hormone (LH). When LH levels are increased, the natural production of testosterone also increases. LH is a hormone that also deals with sex drive. Laboratory animal studies found that Tribulus terrestris increased sperm count as well as motility levels after taking it for 30 days.
Our minimum 45% saponin content makes NOW Tribulus one of the most potent formulas available.

Brilliant Review by Sean
Rating It took a while for it to kick in but when it did you could notice the extra strength it gave as this is what I was looking for as I did not want to go down the injectable route. Great product I would recommend it. (Posted on 5/9/11)

NOW Tribulus Review Review by AstroNutrition In-House Review
Rating Tribulus has long been marketed as a natural testosterone and libido booster. It contains some steroid like substances called saponins including protodioscin, which is similar to DHEA. DHEA is a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal glands. It is also the only hormone not banned in the 2005 prohormone US ban.
DHEA has long been marketed as having anabolic characteristics. However, studies have disproven these claims because it does not improve serum testosterone levels or produce any changes in lean body mass, muscle strength, or performance improvement.
Tribulus is marketed as improving testosterone production in the body by stimulating the pituitary gland to product luteinizing hormone. There are some Bulgarian studies that tout this ability, however there are no Western published studies that show the same results and Eastern bloc studies have often been discredited. This includes several Western studies finding that tribulus does not improve body composition, exercise performance, or testosterone levels.
While there is not any valid clinical evidence to show that tribulus is an effective testosterone booster, there are many of bodybuilders and athletes that use it and claim it helps make them stronger. It does seem it does improve libido and act as an aphrodisiac, but ability to improve androgen production is unlikely. (Posted on 2/18/11) -

Rating My new favorite test booster. If you like tribulus, you'll love this. It contains the most amount of tribulus per tablet than any other product on the market. One is all you need, once a day. If you're training really hard and heavy, then consider taking it twice a day. With 90 tablets per container, this is a 3 month supply!!!
