Species® Fiberlyze Fruit Punch 360 gr is a new combination of dietary fiber in a supplement consisting of both soluble and insoluble fiber.

Scientific studies have shown that taking soluble fiber derived from psyllium has a significant effect in diminishing the risk of heart disease by keeping cholesterol levels in check, especially in the liver. It has also been shown to reduce LDL and triglyceride levels in the blood – the lower the LDL level in the blood, the smaller the possibility of plaque formation in the blood vessels.

What escapes most people's attention is that soluble fiber also aids in fat elimination, which means that taking fiber supplements can also help anyone participating in a controlled weight-loss program. Although it does not 'burn fat' literally, the result is just the same. When fiber is fermented by the friendly bacteria in the colon, the process frees short chain fatty acids, and these liberated fatty acids are then taken through the bloodstream to the liver, where they restrict the liver's glucose production. Less glucose in the blood requires minimal insulin production, and lower levels of insulin in the body means that fat storage is consequently decreased.
