Konjak powder is great to use as a thickener for low cal shakes, it also comes in 0 calorie 0 carb noodle form called shiritaki . It is a great gut sweeper and fibre source, it will help to fill you up and slow down the absorption of your food, however I have never heard of it "excreting fat" as this listing claims. Konjac is the best appetite suppressent I have ever tried! It gives me the feeling of fullness that is consistent for a few hours after I take a dose (I take two before meals). The energy levels aren't extreme but Konjac is a fantastic way to prevent overeating. I love it! (Posted on 1/19/09)
