NATURE'S LIFE Strontium is a nutritional source that is similar in chemical makeup to calcium. It occurs naturally in food as well as water and like calcium helps to build strong bones. Small amounts of strontium can also be found in the skeleton of humans and research on its effect on bone metabolism has been ongoing since the 1950's. Research has shown that strontium has a positive effect on metabolism, which decreases bone resorption and promotes bone formation helping to stabilize bone density.
